You Can Make a Difference! Christy Stutzman will discuss these topics & much more! About the Speaker Mrs. Christy Stutzman was born in South Carolina, but grew up traveling with her family, throughout the East coast and all throughout the Midwest, performing in plays, musicals and concerts. Christy had her first song published at the age of 6, and has continued to write and arrange music for solo, ensemble, choral and orchestral works throughout her life. In 1995, she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Voice, studying under well-known tenor, Raymond Gibbs, formerly leading tenor at the Metropolitan Opera where he regularly understudied for Luciano Pavorotti. In 1999, Mrs. Stutzman met her future husband, Marlin. They were married in 2000, and the Stutzmans settled in Marlin’s home town of Howe, Indiana, where Marlin farms 4,000 acres with his family as co-owner of Stutzman Farms. In August of 2001 they welcomed their first son, Payton, but three weeks later, they watched the events of September 11th unfold, and decided to take action. Marlin decided to run for State Representative, to be a strong, conservative voice at the State House for his friends and neighbors. Today, Christy seeks to educate grass roots women throughout the State of Indiana on the role women can have in politics. 10Ways to Take Action @ 1.
